Update # 12 - May 20, 2009

This week:

   * Entering the final month of the initial writing phase
   * New draft definitions from Jim Gabour, Paul Rogers, James Sainsbury, Rupert Shortt, and Karri Winn
   * Ethical Politics Blog is seeking news and leads from you

A few words about the next 30 days

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are into the home stretch for the first phase of the project. We'll be closing out this first phase with over 300 identified terms, and a collection of 56 astonishingly accomplished Contributing authors who helped make it happen.

To remind you again, the deadline for the first round of term entries is just over a month away on June 30th, and by that date versions of each of your terms must be entered into the Wiki so that we may begin the first round of edits.

Although we have understood from the beginning that each of you are very busy, we just want to stress the importance of timeliness in the remaining few months in which your time and effort will be requested. In order for us to complete the project within the proscribed time frame, and get polished drafts out for your comments and edits, we need to make sure that everyone adheres to the established timeline, which can be found here.

If for any reason you are having any concerns about your ability to complete drafts of your definitions by June 30th, now would be the time to communicate that to us, so that we can take supportive steps to help you complete them. Some of you we have not heard from in quite a while, so please take this opportunity over the next week to check in with us.

The next month should prove to be a whirlwind of activity on the Wiki, after some slow months of building momentum. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty excited about it!

That being said, let's take a look at our new developments.
